Created as a companion to the book Image Grammar, this CD is designed to help you do two things: (1) find interesting images for writing, and (2) e-mail your writing assignments directly to your teacher. Below is a brief overview of each of the options on the opening screen.

• Image Collection

            Included here are images in five categories: character images, setting images, animal images, paintings, and abstract images. Each category provides pictures that you may choose to write about.

  
   

• Online Images

            This section of the CD allows you to travel to Internet sites that contain a rich collection of images for writing. Images on these sites are endless. So, if the images provided on this CD don't appeal to you, this choice should help you locate an image you find more interesting.

  
   

• E-mail

             By selecting e-mail, you can send a message or an assignment to your teacher, assuming your teacher has activated this option. If e-mail is active, your teacher's e-mail address will be visible in the mailbox screen when you click on it.

   

• System Requirements

            This website works best with Netscape or Internet Explorer; however, most browsers should work.
