In “Studies who find women who drink way more fun to study,” I found this to be somewhat funny. I wondered if young women who do drink to have a higher risk of high blood pressure. I found this article quite interesting.
In “Viagra spill revives Lake Michigan,” I found this article to be hilarious. This article made me chuckle.HAHA!

Are you an organized person? Organization is one of the key parts in my life that I lack and need to work on. I lack organization due to procrastinating, forgetting to do things, and not managing my time to do things. I feel organization is a necessity in my life that I need to work on because I am about to go to college and I need organization for when I live on my own and move on to the “outside world.” Could you imagine what this world would be like if everyone was like me and lacked organization skills? Our world would come to an end. There are various and numerous jobs that require organization. Also mainly to be successful one has to have some organization skills. I know that no one is perfect and organized in a perfect way, but organization is a big problem. When it comes to school, students procrastinate and put off doing homework and major projects until the last minute; therefore, when the project is due students rush and get it done. A solution to this problem would be for students to work on the homework when they have free time instead of blowing it off until late at night or not at all. With major projects, students should do the project little by little each day so that when the project is due the students do not cram it into a one night project or a last minute project. This sounds reasonable to me, but it is easier said than done. Procrastination plays a big role in people lacking organization. When things need to get done such as taxes, grocery shopping, cleaning the car, cleaning the house, and other things; people put it off and say that they will do it another day. When it comes time for these things to get done, people get crammed into doing these chores when they could have done them earlier and gotten them over and done with. This is the way people of today are; lacking organization.

1- I like the topic that u have chosen for your satire.
2- Organization is a very big problem for people our age. At least it is a problem for me. Many students do procrastinate and i agree that this will hurt us in college.
3- I thought that your satire was creative, but i think you need to think of some ways to be more sarcastic. You tell us instead of showing us.
4- I think you have a great topic, but i think you need to write it more sarcastically. You have wrote in a tone that tells me the problem and the solution literally.
5 – I think you have a great topic and with a little bit more thought you will have a great satire.

From what we discussed in class today, I realized that what I have written is not written in complete satire form. I realized this because I did not use complete sarcasm and irony to present my problem and solutions, I basically came right out and said them. This is what I need to fix. Thank you Mrs. Urbach for clarifying this in class today. I really appreciate it!

Do you believe that our world is organized?
I believe that our world is very organized. I hardly ever see anyone procrastinating, putting things off, nor running late on schedule. Organization is a necessity in this world that we are all very successful at. You see students in college passing by easily because the students are organized and do their work and do not procrastinate to get the work done and study. Due to the fact that I am a very organized person, I am prepared for the outside world and I feel like college is not going to be as hard as it’s cracked up to be. In high school, I see students going out and getting their work done before they do anything else. I must say that my class hardly procrastinates; therefore, we are all successful at getting good grades and getting our work done. Also, whenever assignments are given to us, we go and get them done. We do not wait until the last minute to get it done, we do it beforehand so we do not have to worry about it later on. This saves us a lot of time and takes a lot of stress off of our shoulders. Have you ever heard of “senioritis?” Well there are fewer students getting this “disease” because we all love our senior year and we want to make it our best year; therefore, everyone puts forth their best efforts and gets their work done and they study to the extreme. There are some people that say being organized is easier said than done, but the truth is it isn’t. Being organized is a very easy process and the reason people make excuses for being organized is simply the fact that they are lazy. In my work environment, there are people that come in late to work, there are people that come in late to pick up their orders, and there are times when the food being cooked is late. This shows how people are running late on schedule; therefore, lacking organization. These are examples of people that are too lazy to care about organization. When it comes time to clean the car, clean the house, do taxes, go grocery shopping, do the laundry, feed the family, feed the pets, mow the lawn, and many other things; people are always getting these tasks done on time. People rarely say that they are going to complete these tasks another day. These are examples of people that are successful at organization and are not lazy.
This is the way people of our world are today; organized.

I believe that our world is very organized. I hardly ever see anyone procrastinating, putting things off, nor running late on schedule. For instance, I could have rushed to write this satire, but I took my time and gathered my thoughts to make sure that I did not hurry and get this satire written. Honestly, I even called off work just so I could write this satire. In another aspect, I rarely see students running late for school. These days schools show the least amount of tardies than ever before. In high school, I see students going out and getting their work done before they do anything else. I must say that my class hardly procrastinates; therefore, we are all successful at getting good grades and getting our work done. Also, whenever assignments are given to us, we go and get them done.
