Scanning the channels on the television is a great thing. News channel after news channel is giving commentaries of recent events and Grover watches them every night. “I love to stay well educated on recent events,” says Grover.

On Count’s News Report, the top story is the recent theft of cookies from the Bakery.
“The crime was today at 2:30. There were three cookies taken. One… Two… Three… Three cookies, AH AH AH.” Grover watched in aw. “The culprit is the one and only Cookie Monster,” said Count

“Wow, I would not have seen that coming, I wonder what is going on in other news,” said Grover. Flipping through the channels, Grover came across Oscar’s New’s.

Oscar exclaimed “As you may have heard, there was a theft earlier today where some cookies were stolen. The number one suspect is Big Bird.” Grover watched in amazement “I can’t believe he would do that.”

Having his fill of the news, Grover shut the T.V. off. “I am amazed, but I feel I got the best of the news today.”

Do you believe that our world is organized?
I believe that our world is very organized. I hardly ever see anyone procrastinating, putting things off, nor running late on schedule. For instance, I could have rushed to write this satire, but I took my time and gathered my thoughts to make sure that I did not hurry and get this satire written. Honestly, I even called off work just so I could write this satire. In another aspect, I rarely see students running late for school. These days schools show the least amount of tardies than ever before. In high school, I see students going out and getting their work done before they do anything else. I must say that my class hardly procrastinates; therefore, we are all successful at getting good grades and getting our work done. Also, whenever assignments are given to us, we go and get them done. We do not wait until the last minute to get it done, instead we do it beforehand so we do not have to worry about it later on. This saves us a lot of time and takes a lot of stress off of our shoulders. Have you ever heard of “senioritis?” Well there are fewer students getting this “disease” because we all love our senior year and we want to make it our best year; therefore, everyone puts forth their best efforts and gets their work done and they study to the extreme. In college, you see students passing by easily because the students are organized and do their work and do not procrastinate to get the work done and study. Due to the fact that I am a very organized person, I am prepared for the outside world and I feel like college is not going to be as hard as it’s cracked up to be. There are some people that say being organized is easier said than done, but the truth is it isn’t. Being organized is a very easy process and the reason people make excuses for being organized is simply the fact that they are lazy. Speaking of running late and laziness, in my work environment, there are people that come in late to work, there are people that come in late to pick up their orders, and there are times when the food being cooked is late. This shows how people are running late on schedule; therefore, lacking organization. These are examples of people that are too lazy to care about organization. In contrast, when it comes time to clean the car, clean the house, do taxes, go grocery shopping, do the laundry, feed the family, feed the pets, mow the lawn, and many other things; people are always getting these tasks done on time. People rarely say that they are going to complete these tasks another day. These are examples of people that are successful at organization and are not lazy.
This is the way people of our world are today; organized.

Ever wonder why everywhere you look, things are getting bigger? It seems everything, food, automobiles, prices, even the average American is almost larger than life. Think about the last time you went to a mall, how many things could you pick out that were geared towards the heavily challenged. Extra large is now something that’s not only regular, but also expected. Some people think that this is a problem. I, however, think that this is exactly what we need. All the problems in this world could simply be solved if everyone was equal. The best way to achieve equality isn’t by working. It’s by slacking. Instead of thriving for everyone to best they could be, I think we should strive to be lazy and overweight, after all we’re almost there now.
It is much easier to achieve a lazy lifestyle than one of hard work. Technological advances already make life easier, so within the next five to ten years there is no reason we shouldn’t be able to automate everything we use. This would make becoming lazy even more likely than it is now. Imagine what it would be like if every nation in to world were too lazy to do anything. There would be no more wars or fighting of any kind. Nobody would be viewed as inferior because everyone would be equally worthless.
Problems like the economy dying out because of the lack of work being done could be easily resolved by using the already existing militaries to earn money for their respective countries. Every country could build different supplies needed to live. They could all trade goods to give to the citizens, which are completely comfortable in their own world of laziness. It would be a perfect society where everybody could live happily.

Who needs to prepare for college? Charlie was a sophomore in high school and knew that he had plenty of time to change his life around. He knew that he did not have to worry about his grades until his senior year. He knew that it was time to party and not time to plan ahead for his future. Him and his friend Jimmy were talking one day about how they were growing up so quickly and that they could not believe it. Charlie asked Jimmy, “Why do you care about your grades now? It is not like they matter or anything. Why would you bother doing your homework and studying if you still have two more years to improve? If you wait until your senior year you can party all you want. Aren’t you supposed to live your high school years to the fullest?” Jimmy just shook his head and walked away. Charlie thought to himself, “It is okay, we will see who enjoys their high school life. I know that I will get into Harvard!”

Wouldn’t it be great if the Sheetz and the Sony’s would begin an all-out civil war. These two groups are already going at one another’s throats. One attacks the others churches and the ones who had their church blown to pieces retaliates and blows up another building filled with the other. And while this is all going on we have American men and women over there dieing because of the hatred between these two groups.
Well I’m glad us as Americans don’t have too much to worry about. If worse comes to worse all we have to do is open the draft and send more people over. Not too bad of an idea since everyone was looking forward to the reopening of the draft anyways. And what’s a few American lives to try and save these two groups from wiping each other away.
But we are America, the land that has never lost a war. So how could we back out of Iraq now. I mean this could ultimately begin World War III. How would we be able to live with ourselves if we weren’t involved with the next World War somehow.
The world is in a very interesting state right now. I know we’re not the only nation being affected by these two groups, or the war in Iraq somehow. It’s best just to sit back and watch people die. As long as no one important dies with them. I’m sure that when the time comes our leader and the leaders of many other countries will know exactly what to do. I just hope they’re not to late.

Have you ever lived that “fairytale” life? The life where you think you’re a “princess” and you get everything you want. I have, and lately I have wondered I don’t ever want this to stop! The car, the clothes, the attention; it’s everything I have ever dreamed of and more. It’s nice to be spoiled, be the apple of your parent’s eyes, and get everything you want. I mean being everything and having everything will get you to the top in no time. I think that it will get you far because we will always get everything we want and never have to work for it. Isn’t that right? Never having to do anything for yourself is just how everyone should be treated.
Being a senior, you have many tough and life long decisions. Although, will these decisions ever really matter? I doubt it, who cares; life doesn’t involve a lot of thought and decision making. Being on your own is nothing. Don’t forget you will always have your parents to hand you money when ever you’ve spent what’s supposed to be for emergencies. I always think “here comes real life.” I wonder about myself and my fellow classmates, are we really ready for what is about to hit us? Can we really make it on our own? Yes, of course we can. College and whatever comes after that will be a breeze. I know I will just slide through life it makes it great.
This year I decided that I was going to go far away for college. I thought it would be best to get away, meet new people, and more importantly to be without my parents and learn to make it on my own. I have faced all these tough decisions though, like applying to colleges and getting accepted to them. It’s so hard getting letter after letter in the mail hoping and praying for that “one” to come, and say yes you are accepted. We all end up getting that letter though, going where ever we want, and living happily ever after. I would have thought that this would be an over-whelming dilemma, but really it was a piece of cake!
Next year I will live in a dorm room, that is tinier than my bedroom, and also have a roommate. We will share closets, a bathroom, and basically our whole lives. How will I go without all of my stuff, and a parent there to do everything for me? Easily, I will find someone there to help me, and I will make sure I get more space than my roommate for sure! I will of course make the best grades too. The professors will love me, and I will fly right through my classes. I’m sure I won’t do all that much studying either, it will just come natural! What will I do leaving my parents behind and my “princess” image, and where will my friends be that already know me? I’m sure that people there will take care of me, treat me like a princess, and I will make friends as soon as I get there. I am worried about nothing, and I have no fear.
Everyone always says that we, the seniors of 2006, have a big “reality check” coming. In my eyes though, all I have to say is whatever! We will make it right through, it will be a blast, and none of us will be left behind.

Have you ever had a neighbor that had dogs and couldn't keep them in their yard? Ever find those nice, little doggy piles and get excited because you don't have any dogs? Well I have. I once had a neighbor that had a ridiculous amount of dogs. Every time I would go outside to mow the lawn I would see a bunch of little doggy piles scattered across the yard. Oh how I loved it! I loved walking outside and seeing all the little piles and maybe even stepping in one of them! It was especially fun to mow the lawn without first picking them up. Oh! how I loved my neighbors for having such wonderful dogs!
So you might ask what is one to do in this situation? Does one ask the wonderful neighbor very politely to keep letting his or her dogs in your yard? Perhaps tell the neighbors thank you for keeping your grass green and healthy? Or does one go to the extreme and wait on the porch with doggy treats in hand and try to make the little doggies do the deed? Whatever the solution is it is going to be fun getting more of those wonderful piles!
To me it seems like the dogs do it just to make me happy. It is like they love seeing me so happy and thrilled all of the time. Or maybe the neighbors are doing it on purpose. They know how it makes me so enthused so they send their dogs to my yard and watch them do their business just to thrill me. They get some kind of pleasure from watching me pick up those little piles with a huge smile on my face. Whatever the reason, this problem must continue before my grass dies and my flowers are no longer in bloom from all the fertilizer they got.

Who ever said that cheating doesn’t get you anywhere is wrong. Cheating is definitely the best route in getting yourself where you want to be. It is an easy thing to do, so the idea of doing it makes it worth your while.
In society today winning is everything. The only way to win an election, race, or event is by cheating. Intelligence in the world is so great because there are so many cheaters.
The best times to cheat are when you’re in a jam, and there is no other way out. You can cheat on almost anything and get away with it. It’s so hard to ever catch a person that is cheating. They are always sneaky and conniving.
Parents today should be encouraging their children to cheat. How else are they ever going to amount to anything? Kids need to know that, and they should hear it from the people who can truly influence them to do it.
Cheating gives you more time to do what you actually want to do. You don’t have to take the time to study all those lengthy hours for a test because the answers will be right there for you. You’ll have spare time to do what you want to do, or you are able to just be lazy. It will especially help with the stress factor, and you won’t have to be so stressed out.
Don’t waste your time to do work when you could just take someone else’s paper and copy their work. So what if they had to spend loads of time working on it, they should share it with you because they might need the favor in return some day.
Cheating will take you to success in this world, there’s no doubt about that. All that you have to do is be polite so that all of your peers will let you copy their papers, or they will let you cheat off of their tests. It is definitely a good routine to pick up on for the future.

The United States is the world ruler, the world from the Middle East to Asia to Australia the world is ours. Our unmatched military power is flexing its muscles and George Bush now has democracy everywhere. Our views have been forced down the throats of unwilling people, our religion and views have been beat into the diverse World that was once the World, which is now the United States of the World.
The fix is on the world is better now. We have succeeded in turning the world into robots for democracy which is exactly what we needed. The solution was right there under our noses. Why fiddle around with the wimps of the world who have sub par military? Why be the bully of smaller nations that we can muscle easily? We finally did what we had to do go out and dominate the world. I am glad that this has happened to the U.S. while I was alive, and we can all reap the benefits of being a World democracy.
