I like this satire because it is making fun of the people that have a problem with the Catholic Church. I also like how it protrays people in general. It shows that what people don’t know won’t hurt them and they don’t really care until they find out someting bad.

Why do people think it is such a big deal going from high school to college?
There really isn’t a change. All there is is that you get to see new faces and new teachers.
The people are going to be the same. We will still see the same cliques and the same attitudes. People are going through the same transition.
You can still live at home and depend on your parents for everything. If you have a brother or sister you share a room with you will already be used to having a roommate. You will always have someone looking over you. Your parents are still going to bug you and ask you how your day was they just might have to do it over the phone.
Then you have the teachers. They are still going to teach and give you homework that you must do. They aren’t as nice as your high school teachers but they’re still teachers.
Your classes are going to be bigger but who cares it will be easier for you to hide when the teacher asks a question.
The food is also going to be better because you can eat whatever you want instead of just what is being offered. You also don’t have to stay on campus to eat.
It’s just like the hallway’s except you get to go outside and the fresh air does everybody some good.
It’s just like high school nothing will change except everything is bigger.

I also like your satire. Actually if i didn’t write about the people in the hall that was going to be my second choice. People always act like you can not ever come home and really you can whenever you want. I also like some of your arguments and how you set it up. Good Job!!

I think mine is a satire. All i need to is make it seem more outrageous so that people know that i am joking when i say there is no difference.

Why do people think it is such a big deal going from high school to college?
As soon as you walk into your first class you realize that you know everybody already. There is no reason to be nervous if you already know them. They are the same as they were in high school. You will still see the same cliques and attitudes as you did before.
You can still live at home and depend on your parents for everything. If you have a brother or sister you share your room with then you are used to having a roommate. You will always have someone looking over your shoulder. Your parents are still going to bug you and ask how your day was; they might just have to do it over the phone. They would also come and see you every day so it would be like you were still living at home.
Then you have the teachers they are still going to teach and then assign you homework that you must do. They even move at the same pace as your high school teachers did. They give the same amount of homework too isn’t that great.
Your classes may be bigger but who cares it makes it easier to hide when the teacher asks questions. But then again you have those same people that always raise their hands to answer questions.
The food won’t be any different you can still only eat what is offered to you.
One thing that doesn’t make sense to me is the fact that people seem to think that college students party more then high school students do. That’s just not true. High school and college students are to busy studying and working to be partying. If you were to travel to a college campus you could only see people studying. The only thing that is advertised is study groups.
College campus’ aren’t even bigger then your high school. They are the same size. It will only take you about five minutes to get to each class.

Why do people think it is such a big deal going from high school to college?
No matter where you go you will always see someone that you know. As soon as you walk into your first class you realize that you know everybody already. You will always have someone looking over your shoulder. Your parents are still going to bug you and ask how your day was; they might just have to do it over the phone. You can never get away from your parents. They would probably even come up just to see you every day so it would be like you were still living at home anyways.
Then you have the teachers, they are still going to teach and then assign you homework that you must do. They even move at the same pace as your high school teachers did. They give the same amount of homework too isn’t that great. The work is even easier because they tell you what you are going to be doing ahead of time. You can even decide when to take your books with you because you already know what you are doing that day.
