    VIAGRA SPILL REVIVES LAKE MICHIGAN

I thought this was very humorous because it had absolutely no possibilty of being true, yet it conveyed the idea that many people think about today. It also displays the reaction of people once they know what has been going on.

In today’s world, everyone has very busy schedules. Time is a very important factor. Many people find it hard to make time to do all of these things in one day. I feel that managing time is a very hard thing to do. There are often too many things that one must take care of in one day. Luckily, there is more than one way to take care of this problem.
One solution is to drop a couple things off of your list. Evidently, this gives you much more time. You will feel less pressured to get everything done. Also, this enables you to concentrate more on things that are more important to you. To do this, you must select which things are less important as for what to quit. Some people may be let down because of what you decide to quit, but this may be necessary.
Another solution is to try to schedule your time better. By doing this, you will know exactly what you need to do and in what order. This way, you are more prepared and will be more organized, and also, you do not have to give up anything or decide which is less important. This allows you to be less stressed out. The problem with this is you have to spend time to make up the schedule. Another major downside to this is you have stick to the schedule almost exactly or you may end up with and even bigger problem: being late for things. Also, to be able to make the schedule, you have to know everything that you need to do and be able to fit everything with the right time allocation.
A last resort would be just to try to do it all anyway. This is the least likely solution because it does not actually solve the problem. Some good things about this solution are you do not have to drop anything, no one will be let down, and you do not have any hard decisions to make. Although it takes absolutely no effort to do, and you have nothing to worry about, you still are left the problem of not having enough time. Also, you will suffer from a lot of stress by still trying to fit everything into a short amount of time.
The most likely conclusion that people will come to would be to try to do less. This is the most workable of the three solutions. Sure, something must be given up, but you do not have to stress yourself out by trying to do too much, and you do not have to worry about being organized. All you have to do is make a simple decision, and then you are granted with more time. I feel that this is the best solution to this problem.

I like your topic because its mine to, but besides that i think that your writing is very good. You give some good solutions to the problem and do i good job of giving what the solution is and what the problems with it might be. The one thing i would do however is change how you tell us. your solutions are really creative so i know that there could be some more creativity. Other then that i really like it.

My piece is not a satire because it simply states a problem and numerous solutions, and does not actually use any satirical language or ideas. It plainly states the problems and solutions in comment form, and uses no creativity to bring the problem to the audience indirectly.

Welcome back to Telecom News Radio. Today’s top national story deals with our great president. The latest reports indicate that he has missed a very important diplomatic flight to England. He told reporters that he “…was working on a national security treaty with the Middle East and lost track of time.” His trip to England was apparently to discuss matters pertaining to the current situation there.

Also on a national scale, the stock market has crashed due to a lack of information. We have been told that the employee who inputs the data for the stock ticker on Wall Street had to use the bathroom and during that time, Sony Entertainment America’s price dropped by 30%, but because of the lack of input on the ticker, traders were unaware of this and found out too late. The man behind lost his job, but was thankful and stated, “I’m so relieved. There was so much stress on this job, and I couldn’t even find time to go to the bathroom.”

In local news, the school principal is under investigation tonight for allegedly sending a child to the hospital. The child broke out in a severe case of hives after suffering a mild allergy attack. The principal was on his way to call the parents, but was stopped en route by a custodian and asked to check on a leaky ceiling tile. The principal lost track of what he was doing and the child had to be sent to the hospital. The parents are now filing lawsuits against the school because their health insurance plan does not include coverage for that hospital. When interviewed, the principal merely stated, “There just wasn’t enough time for me to do everything at once.”

Our next story is one of great tragedy and sorrow, as a family on a camping trip in the mountains was found…. O wait folks, I’m sorry. I’ve just been informed that we’ve run out of airtime. Thanks for tuning in; we’ll see you next week on Telecom News Radio.

i think that your satire is now a satire, however there is not really a solution to your problem you do a great job of telling the problem which is obviously not having enough time in the day but no solution.

Also on a national scale, the stock market has crashed due to a lack of information. We have been told that the new employee who inputs the data for the stock ticker on Wall Street was typing the rises and falls for the market, but he was falling behind and decided that some of the lesser important stocks he could just skip until the next time around. Little to his knowledge, one of the stocks that he skipped had a price drop by 30%, but because of the lack of input on the ticker, traders were unaware of this and found out too late. One man lost an estimated $500,000 in the mishap. The man lost his job, and when questioned by reporters, he stated, “I’m very sorry. There just wasn’t enough time for me to put them all in, and I didn’t think it had much of an importance.”
In local news, an abulence driver is under investigation tonight for allegedly worsening a child’s case of allergies. The child broke out in a severe case of hives after suffering a bee sting. The principal called the parents, and asked as to which hospital to send him to. The parents responded and an ambulence was sent for. At the time of the call, the driver was eating his lunch, nothing out of the usual (same time, same place.) He heard of the call and rushed to get his uniform on and drive the ambulence to the school. By the time he arrived, the child’s throat had swollen almost completely shut. The parents are now filing lawsuits against the driver because of what they feel was an extremely long response time. When interviewed, the driver merely stated, “I got here as fast as I could. There really was nothing more I could do.”
